This is a single sculpture, made up of two pieces that stand some 25 feet apart. Interesting idea. I also like the minimalism, and something not clear in the photo, the use of timber and metal in harmony.
The sculpture is set in a large pine forest, on the edge of Thetford Forest, and is placed by an unassuming track, with the result that you come across it unexpectedly.

Family Group

An interesting group, in what seems to be limestone. No name offered on the plynth, so I've invented this one.

Nativity

One of a wonderful sequence of paintings in Berwick Church, Sussex, carried out by members of the Bloomsbury Group, including Duncan Grant and Vanessa Bell.

An ancient village church, and a small modernist masterpiece in the heart of the English countryside. Close to the Bloomsbury farmhouse, near Lewes.
