Opening panel to the Borough's 'Paving the Way' competition in 1992. Local residents were asked to submit drawings to be made into bronze plaques by artist John Ravera. Tristen Adams and Sarah Clough were winners in the under 11 and 11-18 groups respectively. Gill Culham won the over 18 group. See see their work on the Breakspeare school's group Moblog.

Rainbow's end in Hemel Hempstead

The sculpture was commissioned to symbolise the optimism and aspirations of the first people to settle in the new town after WWII
