Sheffield's Cutting Edge

The city of steel boasts an 80m long sheaf of steel just outside of its railway station. Sparkles in the sunlight. Beautiful at night too. I will see if I can get a picture of that too.

The North is getting a face-lift and I think that the work on these old industry centres is well worth my money. Good shot. I’d love to see it night…
Is it made from Sheffield steel?
I bloody well hope so!

I will find out the origin of the steel. Though Sheffield's only stainless plant closed last year, it could well have been made there. Shame because stainless steel was invented in Sheffield in 1913. End of an era. Night shot on its way - I am back there this coming week.
