I'm really surprised this easily accessable piece in the centre of London isn't on BAM or at least I couldn't find it so apologies if you've mapped this already……



This piece to me is what modern memories of great men and women is all about - the pedestal has gone and the great have been brought down to our level. There’s a double statute of the Moores Brother (ex owners of Liverpool and Everton football clubs and half of Liverpool) as two old blokes walking in the street - you can look them in the eye , have a chat face to face (I'll get this I hope next time I'm home in the Eurpean Capital of Culture 2008 :-).



Same here in fact there’s a space on the bench for you to join in the conversation between these two war leaders. I've had folks over from Germany who insisted on having their photo taken sitting on the bench between !
